As you may have read on the
Creeds page, confessions are longer, organized statements of
belief, usually with biblical passages listed in support of its
propositional truths. They tend to be systematic in their approach.
The first article does an excellent job assessing
the value of confessions. A number of them are listed
below. I have selected those with updated language. Changing the
text makes purists nervous, but I'd rather have you understand
their message. I am still working on updating the footnote text
in the Westminster Confession.
